Rohypnol is a date rape drug but definitely does not sterilize the victim. There is currently no date rape drug that sterilizes the victim. Reports such as this, while made in good faith only serve to introduce fear, based on groundless misconception, in the minds of women. Rohypnol is banned in India and is not available even for research purposes. In countries of the EU, Rohypnol is available and it is shipped or smuggled to the US primarily, not India or Singapore. Rohypnol, originally a colourless solid, is now only available only in the form of white tablets which turn deep blue when dissolved in a liquid. This may serve as a indicator of the presence of Rohypnol, since blue colour can hardly be camouflaged in any drink.
Point two, that about the suppossed Singapore rape, it was another mindless forward which did its rounds around 2 years back, again based more on imagination than reality. In that instance there was some other drug that was suppossedly mixed with Rohypnol, which was the sterilization factor, having been developed to sterilize horses and available with every veternarian. This is again a hoax.
So next time you forward an alarming mail, please do some background research before pressing the panic button. The world is very, very bad but not such a horrible place as we make it out to be...

dissolves in drinks just as easily, is such that the
victim doesn't conceive from the rape and the rapist
needn't worry about having a paternity test
identifying him months later.
The Drug's affects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - they are
PERMANENT. Any female that takes it WILL NEVER BE
ABLE TO CONCEIVE. The weasels can get this drug from
anyone who is in the vet school or any university.
it's that easy, and Rohypnol is about to break out big
on campuses everywhere.
Believe it or not, there are even sites on the
Internet telling people how to use it. Please forward
this to everyone you know, especially girls.
Girls, becareful when you're out and don't leave your
drink unattended.

drink been Spiked by Rohypnol.
