Koramangala's startup Padhaaro.com brings business to tourism industry

(Having started in January…)

Most people turn to friends and family for advice and recommendations when traveling to a new country. However, no one knows local culture of a place as the people staying there and no advice or guide can give your travel such an experience.

With an aim to make travel more fun and meaningful and help foreign tourists visiting India get to experience something more than fixed itineraries and packages, Ish Jindal of NIT Warangal and Saurabh Jain of IIT Delhi, started Padhaaro.com, a greeter service that connects local experts with tourists, both foreign nationals and Indians.

Having started in January 2012, padhaaro.com today has a network of around 200 greeters/local experts in 18 cities and has partnered with some businesses as well which provide specialized services.
